It includes comedy and theater feeds, live chat, and a special sign-up test that is hilarious but effective for weeding out the smarts from the not-so. Other "intelligent dating" sites either failed to screen members in any meaningful way or else applied absurdly difficult Mensa tests.

   As a member of LFW, I can tell you, there are a few IQ questions on the entrance test, but not absurdly hard like Mensa. Most of the questions are culture based and involve identifying quotes. Several of the quotes can be deduced even if you don't recognize the quote, e.g., "Fool! Don't you know I could have poisoned you 100 times if I didn't love you?" This is obviously Cleopatra to Marc Anthony, not Nancy to Ronald Reagan.

   I meant to add, the exam, if you call it that, does weed out the imbeciles and creepzoids fairly effectively IMO.

   I have to say, like with most dating websites I was skeptical at first, but LoveforWits.com turned me around. The profile is the most in-depth I've seen so it helped considerably in separating the narcissists from the normals and in narrowing down someone with my general interests. I wanted to meet a woman with brains and a sense of humor, and though I had to fly from Miami to New Orleans to make that happen, I have no regrets. We're getting married next month.
